Testing

Cannabis Testing Options

FULL OKLAHOMA COMPLIANCE PANEL (COA)

This test includes all of the required analysis for Oklahoma.

OUTDOOR GROW R&D PANEL

This test includes heavy metals, pesticides and microbial and is designed to allow outdoor growers to assess their crops before submitting a full compliance panel.

MICROBIAL

Microbial is the screening of the cannabis plant and the process of identifying the type and level of microorganisms present in each sample. All harvest batch and production samples will be testing for the following:

E coli
Salmonella species
Staphylococcus aureus
Aspergillus (4 strains)

POTENCY

Potency is the testing of the cannabinoid content in cannabis. The cannabinoid called delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the main ingredient in marijuana responsible for its psychoactive, or mood-altering abilities. In combination with other cannabinoids, the amount of THC in marijuana determines the strength of the effect of the drug. Specialty Testing Solutions measures 15 cannabinoids using both High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry LC-MS/MS technologies.

RESIDUAL SOLVENTS

Production batch samples shall be tested for the following solvents:

Acetone
Benzene
Butanes/ Heptanes
Hexane
Isopropyl Alcohol
Pentane
Propane
Toluene
Total Xylenes (m, p, o-xylenes)

HEAVY METALS

All harvest and production batch samples will be tested for the following heavy metals:

Lead
Arsenic
Cadmium
Mercury

TERPENES

We perform quantitative terpene testing on gas chromatography (GC). Terpenes are known to provide the flavor, scent, and aroma of plants.

MOISTURE ANALYSIS

MYCOTOXINS

All production batch samples of concentrate shall be tested for the following:

Ochratoxin
Aflatoxins (B1, B2, G1, and G2)

PESTICIDES

Pesticide testing allows users to identify and quantify the type of pesticides present within the plant. Our testing processes lets us know exactly what pesticides are present, down to the parts per million. We test for the following pesticides:

Spiromesifen
Spinosad (Mixture of A and D)
Permethrin (mix of isomers)
Abamectin (Avermectins: B1a & B1b)
Bifenazate
Azoxystrobin
Myclobutanil
Malathion
Imidacloprid
Imazalil
Etoxazole
Tebuconazole
Spirotetramat
